Although an updated version of the proposed regulations was not anticipated to <br /> be completed in time for the April 19, 2010, worksession, the attached draft regulations do have a <br /> handful of updates. Due to the updates, the page numbers do not match the page numbers from the <br /> previous version but any notes or questions on previous versions would still apply. The notable <br /> changes,which are underlined in the attached regulations, are as follows: <br /> • Page 8 — Subd 5.D.i, Mixed Business: added a placeholder for a limit to the total square <br /> footage of buildings in the Mixed Business District. The maximum number of square feet <br /> has not yet been determined. <br /> • Page 9— Subd 5.D.iv, Mixed Business: added a limit of 100,000 square feet for the two retail <br /> buildings that can exceed the 50,000 square foot limit. <br /> • Page 9—Subd 6.C, Design Standards: <br /> o i. Added a height limit of 35 feet for single family homes <br /> o ii. Added a height limit of 55 feet for condos and apartments <br /> • Page 12—Subd 8.B.i, Park and Open Space: added design criteria for the central park feature <br /> These updates do not include all of the requests or suggestions from the April 12 worksession. Staff <br /> met with the consultant on April 22 to discuss such items as the land use chart, environmental <br /> sustainability requirements, business height limits, and housing tenure requirements.
