T�e Condi�ional �se �'ermit shall be title reg�stered vvith the <br />proper�y in the Off ce Qf the County Record�r. <br />E. Accesso�-y St�ctures. <br />1. Accesso�-y st�ct�res shall nat be designed for h��an �ab�#a�ion. <br />2. Accessory struc�ures, � f permit�ed, shail be constructed and place� on <br />t�e building site so as to offer �he mini�u� obstruction to the #�ow o� <br />#lt�od waters. <br />a. ��eneve�- possible, structures s�a�l be constructed with th� <br />lor�gitudinal axis parai�el to the direction of #iaod #�ov�r; and <br />b. So far as practicable, structures s�all be placed approxi�nate�y on <br />the same flood flo�v lines as those of adjoining structures_ <br />3. Accessory structures shail be elevated or fi�l t�r �truc�uraily dry �iood <br />proofed in accardance with the FP-1 or FP-2 flood p�-oofing <br />classif cations in the State Building �ode. As an altern�tive, an accessory <br />�t�cture �ay be flood proofed �o th� F�'-3 or FP-4 flood pro�f ng <br />classif cat�on �n the State Build�ng Code provided the accessory struetur� <br />constit�tes a minilnal investment, does not exceec� f ve hundred (50�) <br />square feet i� size at its iargest �rojectians, and �or a detached garage, t�e <br />detached garage shall �e used salely for parking of veh�c�es and l��ited <br />storage. �I� flood proofed accessory st�-uctures shall r�eet the fol�owing <br />additional standards: <br />a. T�e struct�re shal� be adequatel� anchored to prevent #�otation, <br />collapse or Iatera� rnovement o�the structure and �hall be des�gned �o <br />ec�ua�i�e hydr�static fl�od forces o� ex�erior walls; and <br />b. Any mec�anical ar�d utility equipment in a structure shall �ae <br />elevated to or above tl�e Regulato�-y Flood Protect�on E�evatiQ� o� <br />properly flood �roofed. <br />c. To allaw for �he equaiization of hydros�a�ic pressure, there must <br />be a min�mum t�� tvvo "au�omattc" openings in the outs�de �va�ls of <br />the s�ructure having a t�tal net area of not �ess ��an one square inch <br />for every square foot of enclosed area subject to floadin�. T�ere m�st <br />be openings on at least two sides of th� structur� and the �ottor� of aIl <br />openir�gs �ust be no h�ghe�- than one foot above the lovvest adjacen� <br />g�rade to the struiture.
