March 31, 2010 <br /> Dear Neighbor: <br /> RE: Application for Variance to Construct a Front Entry Addition on 1146 Waldon Place,Arden Hills <br /> The purpose of this document is to request your support for a variance request we will be presenting to the Arden - <br /> Hills Planning Commission and the Arden Hills City Council. As currently written,the ordinance requires a request <br /> for a variance to build within the 40'front yard setback of our property. <br /> Our request is for a 10' by 10' (at the most)front entry addition to be built onto our house.This would at the most <br /> be within 35'feet of the setback. The addition would replace the current concrete front step pad and the corner <br /> portion of our sidewalk. The plan is for the door to be relocated to the side of this addition with picture windows <br /> facing the street.
