Ordinance 2010-005 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />ORDINANCE 2010-005 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING REGULATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY <br />The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that Section 630 is hereby amended in the Arden <br />Hills City Code to read as follows: <br />Section 630 - Construction Activities <br />630.10 Prohibited Activities. Except as allowed by permit of the City Council, No person shall <br />engage in or permit construction activities involving the use of any kind of electric, diesel or <br />gas powered machine or other power equipment except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and <br />9:00 p.m. on any weekday or between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on any weekend or <br />holiday. Upon application for a waiver the City Council may grant a permit waiving the <br />requirements of this Section and may impose reasonable conditions to it. <br />630.11 Emergency Construction Activities. Emergency construction activities which are <br />necessary to protect the public health, safety, and welfare, are exempt from the requirements <br />of Section 630.10, provided that parties shall notify the City Public Works Director as soon as <br />reasonably possible regarding the existence of the emergency condition and the projected time <br />necessary to abate the emergency. <br />
