The John <br />Deere vehicle has been used to plow ice rinks and parking lots in the winter. In addition, it is <br />utilized in the summer for mowing, grading, aerating and fertilizing. <br />The proposed Turbo Toolcat Machine is capable of all of the same things as the John Deere <br />Tractor with more versatility for trail and sidewalk clearing. The City continues to add trails to <br />the City trail network and this machine is designed to snow blow, sand and salt trails. <br />Minnesota Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) <br />The City of Arden Hills currently maintains a free membership in the Minnesota Coo erative <br />• • • .. . . . p . <br />Purchasing Venture Program. This allows the City to participate in State specificatlons and bid <br />prices, resulting in the City of Arden Hills paying the same amount for a single iece of <br />. . p <br />equipment as the State does for numerous pleces. <br />TriState Bobcat, is the vendor that has the state contract for Bobcat vehicles. Pricin comes <br />. g <br />directly from the state contract. <br />Bud�t <br />The cost of this vehicle with sales tax and license included is $44,434.31. Winter attachments <br />� <br />with sales tax included are $7,863.62. Attachments include a 72" width snow blower with an <br />8.0 hydraulic motor package and 84" Snow V Blade. <br />
