<br /> ,. bd ISOSubd. 146 Public waters. Means a body of water capable of substantial
<br /> beneficial public use. This shall be construed to mean, for the purposes of these
<br /> regulations, any body of water, which has the potential to support any type of recreational
<br /> pursuit or water supply purpose. A body of water created by a private user where there
<br /> was no previous shoreland, as defined herein, for a designated private use authorized by
<br /> the commissioner of natural resources, shall be exempt.
<br /> cxlhd ';%''Subd. 147 Railroad right-of-way. A strip of land with tracks and auxiliary
<br /> facilities for track operation, but not including depots, loading platforms, station,'train
<br /> sheds,warehouses, car shops, car yards, locomotive shops or water towers.
<br /> S;11hd. ' 'Subd. 148 Reach. A hydraulic engineering term to describe a longitudinal
<br /> segment of a stream or river influenced by a natural or man-made obstruction. In an
<br /> urban area, the segment of a stream or river between two consecutive bridge crossings
<br /> would most typically constitute a reach.
<br /> hd 1�2Subd. 149 Recreation, commercial. Recreational facilities which are operated
<br /> for profit or render a service which is customarily considered as a business.
<br /> !Qashd ';% Subd. 150 Recreation, residential. Play apparatus such as swing sets and
<br /> slides, sandboxes, poles for nets, picnic tables, lawn chairs, barbecue stands, and similar
<br /> equipment or structures, when used on residential property, but not including electronic
<br /> towers, tree houses, swimming pools, playhouses exceeding twenty-five (25) square feet
<br /> of floor area, or sheds utilized for storage of equipri�ent.
<br /> ��Subd. 151 Recreational vehicles (RVs). Vehicles for recreational or utilitarian
<br /> uses that can be driven, towed, or hauled. Including, but not limited to, motor homes and
<br /> travel trailers, snowmobiles, pull campers, all terrain vehicles (ATVs), tent trailers, or

<br /> Subd. 152 Recreational vehicles (for the purposes of Section 1335 only). A
<br /> vehicle that is built on a single chassis, is 400 square feet or less when measured at the
<br /> largest horizontal projection, is designed to be self-propelled or permanently towable by a
<br /> light duty truck, and is designed primarily not for use as a permanent dwelling but as
<br /> temporary living quarters for recreational, camping, travel, or seasonal use. For the
<br /> purposes of Section 1335, the term recreational vehicle shall be synonymous with the
<br /> term travel trailer/travel vehicle. (Added O5105110)
<br /> mod:�Subd. 153 Recreational Vehicles, Utility Trailers, Riding Lawn Mowers, and
<br /> Watercraft Height. The distance as measured from the ground to the highest point of the
<br /> recreational vehicle, utility trailer, or watercraft, including any covering, as stored. This
<br /> does not including antennas and utility/mechanical systems provided they are accessory
<br /> and take up no more than ten (10)percent of the roof surface area. RV s and watercraft on
