Each park will receive at least one container and the larger parks such as Perry <br />Park, Cummings Park and Hazelnut Park will receive multiple containers. <br />In August, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners approved the purchase of <br />recycling bins to support public space recycling. The program will be phased in over three <br />years with the first year focusing on park and recreation area recycling. The County <br />agrees to purchase these bins, provided the municipalities agree to certain conditions for a <br />five-year period. The requirements to be included in this program are that each <br />municipality must submit a written plan for the placement of the container bins and <br />servicing them, a Resolution in support of the plan and a signed agreement. �nce these <br />items have been submitted, the County expects shipment in approximately six weeks. <br />Bud�et <br />The $300 additional expense will be taken from the Parks Maintenance Budget. <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends a motion to approve Resolution No. 2010-045: Supporting the City's <br />participation in the "Be Active!
