An area of vegetated ground cover around <br />the peter of a wetland that, either in its natural condition or through intervention, has <br />the racteristics of buffering the wetland from surrounding landscaping. An assessment tool utilized to determine the <br />boundary of a wetland using the US Army Corps of Engineers Wetland Delineation <br />Manual (January 1987) as well as any additional boundary determination requirements <br />established in Minnesota Rules Chapter 8420. A "Wetland Delineation Report" is a <br />document that summarizes the observations, results and conclusions performed during <br />the assessment when wetlands are present.
