DATE: December 8, 2010 <br />TO: Planning Commission <br />FROM: Meagan Beekman, City Planner <br />SUBJECT: Report from the City Council <br />November 15, 2010, City Council Work Session and Regular Meeting <br />The Council approved (4 -1) Planning Case 10 -009 granting a Zoning Code Amendment and <br />PUD to allow Arden Hall to continue as a permanent use in the B -2 District. The Planning <br />Commission voted 5 -1 (Holewa Dissenting) to recommend approval for the planning case at <br />their October 6, 2010, meeting. <br />November 29, 2010, City Council Meeting <br />DEN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />PC Agenda Item 5.A <br />The City Council unanimously approved Planning Case 10 -012 for a perliminary and final plat, <br />rezoning, CUP amendment, and master and final PUD for the Presbyterian Homes <br />redevelopment propsal. The Planning Commission voted 6 -1 (Scott Dissenting) to recommend <br />approval for this planning case at their November 3, 2010, meeting. <br />Planning Commission /City Council Joint Worksession <br />The joint work session has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2010, with the City <br />Council to discuss the future of variance applications in the City and to go over several potential <br />amendments to the Zoning Code that would allow greater flexibility for single family home <br />owners when improving their properties.
