RESOLUTION No. 20tt-002
Resolution relating to the Appointments to the
Commissions and Committees of the City
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding planning and zoning issues on the Planning
Commission;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding planning and zoning issues on the Economic
Development Commission;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints members to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding parks, trails and recreation issues on the Parks,
Trails, and Recreation Committee;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding City financial planning on the Financial Planning
and Analysis Committee;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding planning and zoning issues on the Communications
Committee:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Arden Hills City Council appoints or
reappoints the following people to serve on the following commissions and committees
with terms ending as noted by the name:
Section 1: Planning Commission:
A. Roberta Thompson,Vice Chair—December 31, 2013
B. Samuel Scott—December 31, 2013
Section 2: Economic Development Commission
A. There are no terms expiring for current members.
Section 3: Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee:
A. John Peck—December 31,2013
B. Harold Petersen- December 31, 2013
C. Rich Straumann- December 31, 2013
D. Phil Kramlinger—December 31, 2012 (new appointment)
E. Chuck Michaelson.—December 31, 2011 (new appointment)
Section 4: Financial Planning and Analysis Committee
A. Arlene Mitchell—December 31, 2013
Section 5: Communications Committee A. Dorothy McClung's term expired December 31, 2010. She is not seeking
reappointment.
