SUBJECT: Staff Updates
As Wednesday, January 19, 2011 is a Special City Council meeting, I anticipate that I
will have a few staff updates for the Council and one item that will need Council action.
The Council action item relates to the vacant Accounting Analyst position. The City
advertised for the position, received 40 applications, and interviewed the top candidates.
I met with the two finalists and we are now completing background and reference checks.
I expect to have a recommendation to hire by the Wednesday Council meeting.
