Each year in Decezx�ber, the City set the monthly contribution rate for e�nployee benefits
far #he next year.
Discuss�on
As part af the annual budget and levy adoption process, the Cauncil is also asked to
approve the 2011 City contribuiion for employee benefits. The City contribution rate is
currently set by increasing the current contMbution by 50% o�the increase in premituns
for the nex� year of the HSA plan. The employee contributioz� rate of $&80.21 per
month per employee �ox 2011 has been calculated into the proposed 2011 budget as
discussed at pxevious Council worksessions. {For reference, there is no change from
2010 to 2011 — the confiribution arr�ount remains the same.)

Motion io adopt Resolution 2010-472, a Resolution setting the City Contxibutxon to
Ernployee Monthly Benefits at the amount o� $680.21 per month, per ezz�.ployee {provided
they participate in the HSA plan or have faznily coverage, single coverage amount only if
they participate in the Co-Pay Plan.).

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2411 CITY CONTRYBUTTON TO
EMPLOYEE MONTHLY SENEFITS
WHEREAS, the Cirfiy Council of Arden Hills does hereby approve th� contributiian of six
hundred eighty dollars and tweniy-one cents ($680.21) per month, per employee �oward
bargaining uriit employees benefits;
WHEREAS, the City Couz�cil of Arden Hi�ls does hereby approve the contribution of six
hundred �ighty dolla�s and twenty-one cents ($680.21) per month, per employee toward non-
bargaining unit employees benefits provided they participate in the City's HSA p1an;
WHEREAS, the City Counci� o�' A:rden Hilis does hereby approve the con�ribution of
100% single coverage or szx hundred eighty dollars and iwenty-one cents ($b80.21) per mon�li
for family coverage, pear empioyee toward non-bargaining unit employee benefits provided they
participate in tl�e City's Co-Pay plan;
THEREFORE SE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council af Arden Hi�ls daes hexeby
approve the contribution ioward bargaining and non-bargaining unit ernpiayee benefits as stated
above.
