SUBJECT: Planning For Town Hall Meeting(s)
Background
The Council has held periodic Town Hall meetings in various formats, including one large city-
wide gathering, and several smaller “neighborhood” gatherings. The Council has directed the
Town Hall meeting(s) for 2009 be held in the spring. The specific timing of the meeting(s)
needs to be determined, so that Council and staff can reserve the dates on their calendars; and the
format and objectives need to be determined, so that we can begin to prepare for the meetings.
