The promotion aiJames Lehnhoff to the position of Community Development Director creates a
vacancy in the posi#ion of City P�anner. Meagan Beekman, th� current Planner I, has
demonstrated the abiiities and aptitudes needed ta be successfui in the City Planner positian. It
is recommended ihat Meagan Beekman be promoted to the position of City Plaa�er effective
August 26, 2008, and that her salary be set at $51,912, which is siep one of the City Planner
salary range (Level 8 of the City's co�npensation plan}.
RECOMMENDED COUNCYL ACTION
Motion to approve the promotion of Meagaxi Beekman ta the position of City Planner effective
Augusi 26, 2048, with a salary of $51,912, which is step one af the City Planner salary range
(Leve18 of the City's compensation plan).
