Agreement between the City of New Brig�ton and the Crty of Arden Hii�s
For Cable Services
Pur�ose: The purpose of this agreement is to autlin.e the services to be provided by the
City af New Brighton to the City of Arden Hills related to cable services.
Duration: This agreemen.t is e��ective July 31, 2008 and will exist for one year from this
daie. This agreement and terms can be renewed at �he end of one year. Either party can
terminate the agreement if a 90 day notice is provided in writing to the other party.
Explanation o� Services to be Provided: The City of New Brighton agrees to provide
cable services to the City of Arden Hills. This will include video taping the monthly
Pianning Cor�nission and City Council Meetzngs, scheduling the playback far these
meetings, ar�d inputting information on the cable channel bulleizn board. The City of
ArdEn Hills agrees to provide the cable technician wiih in�or�natian/text for the bulletin
baard. It is es�irnated that the total time required in Arden Hi�ls will be approxixaaately
faur ho�rs per week.
The City of New Brighion will prov�ide the City of Arden Hills with technical feedback
about the operations of the equipment. If the cable equipment is not functioning
properly, the City of New Brighton Cable Technician will infarz�. the Arden Hills staff of
the problem to �nsure that the problem is correcied in a timely fashion .
Any additions ta the services outlined above will be reviewed and agreed upon by both
parties and included in an axnendznent to this agreernent. The City of Arden Hills agrees
ta provide the equipment needed for the above services.
Employment: The cable techr�ician will remain an ennployee of the City of New
Brighton duzing the scope of their wark wiih the City of Arden Hills. The City of New
Brighton will be responsible for worker's compensation, salary, training az�d other
benefiis related to this position.
Cost: The Ciiy of Arden Hills agxees to pay $3801month for the above services. The
City of New Brighion will invoice the City af Arden Hills on a monthly basis. Payrr�ent
wiil be made by the lst of each month for services and remitted ta:
