RESOLUTION NO. 2011-019
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2011 SANITARY SEWER LINING PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the 2011
Sanitary Sewer Lining Project, bids were received on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 9:00 a.m.,
opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received complying with
the advertisement:

Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. $ 399,444.50
SAK Construction, LLC $ 416,553.50
Michels Corporation $ 454,972.00
Lametti & Sons,Inc. $ 455,042.00
Visu-Sewer, Inc. $ 493,158.50
Veit& Company, Inc. $ 525,780.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Insituform Technologies, USA, Inc. of Chesterfield,
Missouri is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$399,444.50;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Insituform Technologies, USA, Inc. of Chesterfield, Missouri, for
$399,444.50 in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements
according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Administrator.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 28th
DAY OF MARCH, 2011.
