RESOLUTION NO. 2011-035
RESOLUTION RELATING TO SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
FOR THE 2010 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on August 30, 2010, the Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution
2010-039 entitled "Resolution Adopting Special Assessment Roll for the 2010 Pavement
Management Program "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Mediated Settlement Agreement, the City of Arden Hills wishes
to amend Resolution No. 2010-039 as it relates to PIN No. 21-30-23-43-0007.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, as of January 1, 2012, after applying the
special assessment payment collected in 2011, the adjusted principal balance of the 2010 Pavement
Management Program Special Assessment for PIN No. 21- 30 -23 -43 -0007 shall be $4,660.56. The
Special Assessment shall be paid in equal annual installments extending over a period of nine (9)
years. The Special Assessment shall bear interest at the rate of 4.5% per annum commencing on
January 1, 2012. The first installment shall include interest from January 12, 2012 to December 31,
2012, and to each subsequent installment, when due, shall be added interest for one (1) year on all
unpaid installments.
The City Administrator shall forthwith prepare and transmit a certified duplicate of this
Resolution to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax list of the county. Such
assessment shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes.
Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 27th day of June, 2011.
