At a public meeting,held November 1, a suspen.sian and expuls�ion policy was discussed and
the s�ggested changes have been �ncorporated �nto a new pol�cy. The sec�ions on suspension
and expulsion have been revised and the sections on exclus�on and excuse have been added.

Received a letter frpca Attorney LeVander atating that the Distri.ct Court had render�d an

Maternity Policy the case contained moot points and the claim was disa�lowed.

chan e at Count Rd. E and Hi hwa 5�.. When stiudies $nd surveys of the Counci�. proposal

A County Highway representative reve�led that plans sr� being considered £or construction of
a faur-1an.e divided hi�hwav on Lexin�tar� Aye. irom iar�enteur to Hi.ghway 694. This would

Both State and County Highway Representatives made a plea far consideration of stop-and��o

Council members seemed to indicate the mi ht favor such an ins�allation.
A representative from �4te Highway D�part�ent indicated that the department is at least a
year away fzozn a sati.sfactory proposal. Righ��of-way acqu�sition and detafled designs
would follow, with ri ht�o�-wa takin from 30-3b months, it would, therefore, be 1975
or �97b before ac�ual construction cou3.d _be�in.
