Elaine Shore - Reporter The Board approved a resolution in regards to the School Baard Elec�ion, naming the po�lin� places, judges and dates for i�he electian of two vacated school board positions. EIectian day was set far Tuesday, May 15th and a resolution to establish a special efection for a�even-member school board was to be he�d at the sarrte time. A date for the canvassing of election bal�ots was set for May 15th at 9:00. A contract was approved for the use of �he old Beti�el Col�ege �y �he Mounds View School Dis�rfc�. The Boart� also ap�roved the sale of bonds in the amount of $2,300,000 to the low bidder:at the interest rate of 4.9f�16 �y Piper, Jaffray and Hapwooc�. A report on the Parent Advisory Councils was heard and it was felt �hat the goafs and purposes of the groups sho�fd be more clearfy defir�ed a�d �hat there should be a carr�rnitmen� in writing from the Board, Superintendent and C�uster Directors, to the effect that they would 6e wilfing to foliow its' recommenciations.
