worked up between Arden Ni�ls, SF�oreview, Rosevifler Ramsey Caunty and Minnesota Hig�way Dept.
�he cour�c�l approved Pemtom third addition, the development agreement, the open space ea5ement
and covenants and the issuance of building permits for townhouse villages.

It was announced the vilfage pfanners contract expired in Jufy an� that consideration of re-empfayment

' Council decided to withhold support to Metro League until it can be evaluated. Coe�ncif
considering a transparency projector and microphones for council meetings. DiscUssed the checicing
of Glenarden Road Pond for heafth and safety hazards. Councif to�d Va�entine Park drainage ditch
wou�d begin as soon as possible. Announced that Parks Corr�rnittee would iike to pursue Highway 5�
easement for parlcs. Councif appraved. Approved appointment of Wafter $eggi� on ParEcs Cornrnittee.
Council agreed the vil�age "Barn" shoulc� not be sold. Possibility of leas�ng to Sportsman Club, wifih
�urther meetings #o occur on subject.

Present union agreement discussed for public worlcs employees and advised that '%4 agreemenfi will

Cauncil discussec� topic of cor�ditionaf rezoning, that is, rezoning of property subjeci� to a condition
that t�e proparty be used for cer�ain purposes.
Announced t�at Rrnasey Caunty wil� �ar�ticipate in New Brighton Road-Glenpaul Avenue dra�nage
project on a s�are �asis. County has agreed to repair County Road E with cost �o the vil�age. Cosf
s�aring propasal worked up on Lamo�os Ditch and communities are 6eing no�ified. Request for
enlarging cufvert a� Lexington south of County Raad i�ecause of 60 acre developrnent in Shoreview.
Cauncil appr�ved, subject to Rice Creeic Watershed approval.
Advised that v��lage mus� show where they spent Federal Revenue Sl�aring money on 1 SepterrEber '73.
Reported that Valentine Parlc irr►provernents si�arted and that four �-nanhofes rernained to f�e raised and
�hafi the exterior oi the "Barn" shou�d be campletely painted.
Announced that Nancy Mcfntosh and Jerry McCaufey appointed to Rarrtsey County Trail Commission.
Mc�yor advised that he had received �ake si�udy frorrs DNR and would be turned aver to Planning
Commission. Ot�er copies are being requ�sfied.
