Reir�'s shopping center. The Commission voted 4�a 3 to recommer�d tha� the Councii apprave the
rezoning of the 2.62 acres to Et-B, located west and adjacer�t to the presently zoned R-$ 3.38 acres,
con�ingent on ih �se for an office building (this is a partion of Case No. 73-28}.

A Public Hearing was held cor�cerning the amendment to Ordinance No. 99, the Zon�ng Ordinance
{Case No. 72-48). The Commission recom�encled that the Council adopi� an ordinance No. 99, the
zoning ordir�ance, by changing th� pro�isions for speciaf use permits. adding a provision prescribing
perfarmance standards for drive-in businesses and automobi le service sta�ions, amenc�ing the pravision
conceming enforcing afFice and penafty, and repealing other specified arc�inances.
By unanimous vate the Commission recommended that the Council approve the issuance af the B�ilcling
Permi#� to'C. G. Rein for the shopping center (near Lexington anc� County Road E) (Case No. 73�3) in
accordance with #he plans and writt�n documentatian submitted.

Site, grading fandscape, and f�oor plan drawings and outline specificafiions of the proposed 30,000
square foot !, C. 5ystems office building were presented. The location is on a 6-acre commeraiaf sifie
on the west side of Lexington Avenue, south of County Roac! E. More definitive drawings were
requested showing detail af th� exterior of the bui�ding (including roof-top equipment), parking �ofis,
lighting, driveways, walkways, and screening via landscaping {Case No. 73-39}.
