SUBJECT: TCAAP /Stadium Proposal Update
On Thursday, August 4, 2011, the City of Arden Hills and Ramsey County jointly hosted an
open house to present information on the Vikings stadium proposal. Information was presented
on the following topics:
1. Traffic and transportation
2. Environment and remediation
3. Finance and economic development
4. Stadium plan and land use
5. History of the site and previous proposals for development
6. Roles and responsibilities of the City and County
Staff from the City, County, and U.S. Army were available for questions. Mayor Grant,
Councilmembers, and County Commissioners were also available for discussions with interested
residents.
Of the 82 people listed on the sign -in sheets, 27 (33%) live in Arden Hills. It is likely that some
attendees did not sign in, so actual attendance was probably in the low 100's.
Attendees had an opportunity to subscribe to the City's website for e -mail updates on the
stadium proposal. Attendees also completed comment cards which City staff is in the process of
compiling.
