Change Order #1 in the amount of $2,728.$0 was appra��ed on June 27, 201 I, increasing tl-�e contract to a revised amount of $ t 6,76b.00 Discussion The pay request includes work ear�-ipleted through August 10, 2011 _ The restoratio� work is comp�ete. Finaneial Implications The table below provides a histary of tne construction costs for the pond excavation: Engineer's Estimate $22,000.00 Original Contract Amount $14,037.20 Ciiange Order #] $ 2,728.50 Revised Contract Amount $16,766.00 Final Contract Amount $16,622.24 The final contract amount is Iess than the revised cantract amo�nt, beeause an herbivore excIus�on fence v�7as to be insialled. This was not placed, however, because a family of ducklings was living an the pond, and this fence would have been detrirnental to their survi�al.
