SUBJECT: Appointment of Janet Stodola to the City of Arden Hills Planning
Commission as Alternate
Background
City staff received an inquiry from Janet Stodola to serve on the Planning Commission on
September 21, 2011. Ms. Stodola previously served on the Planning Commission from January
2007, until December 2009, when she moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Stodola has since moved
back to Arden Hills and would like to serve on the Plannin g Commission at this time as an
alternate.
At present, the City has both a full time and an alternate position open on the Planning
Commission. Ms. Stodola will take over Angela Hames' seat, which was vacated when Ms.
Hames was appointed as a full time Commissioner in July 2011. This appointment is through
December 31, 2013.
Requested Action
Motion to approve Resolution 2011 -050 Appointing Janet Stodola to the City of Arden Hills
Planning Commission as Alternate.

RESOLUTION NO. 2011-050
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING JANET STODOLA TO THE
PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council appoints residents to serve on the Planning Commission in
an advisory capacity to the City Council regarding development issues;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The City Council appoints Janet Stodola to serve
as alternate on the Planning Commission until December 31, 2013.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
10th Day of October, 2011.
