SUBJECT: Public Works Tour and Presentation
Background
Once again this year we hope to have the entire Public Works staff attend the work
session. For some of our staff it is the only time they get to see the Council and vice
versa. We would like to start with a brief tour of our facility. For those Councilmembers
that have seen it many times, we would like to show off the heat and floor drain that have
been installed in the garage area. Even though we have not really needed the heat this
winter season it has allowed us to reorganize the shop area as items subject to freezing
can now be stored anywhere.
After the tour we have a short PowerPoint presentation to discuss accomplishments in
2011 and our thoughts about additional projects we would like to take on in 2012.
