SUBJECT: Northwest Youth and Family Services
Background
Northwest Youth and Family Services (NYFS) President and CEO Jerry Hromatka has
requested to come before the City Council to provide the annual update about services
provided by NYFS to Arden Hills residents. The City, along with eight other
neighboring cities, annually partners with and contributes to this organization. The City's
financial contribution to this organization has historically come from St. Katherine's
Ukrainian Church by way of their charitable gambling funds. The annual financial
contribution requested of Arden Hills by NYFS is in the $14,000 range.
For the past few years, Councilmember Holden has been the City representative on the
NYFS Board.
