SUBJECT: 2013 EDC Work Plan
The Economic Development Commission approved its 2013 Work Plan on December 5, 2012.
The EDC Work Plan is primarily focused on the City Council goal, "Develop relationships with
the business community and establish a reputation as a business- and development-friendly
City." Goals are defined in the categories of:
• New member recruitment;
• Revolving loan program;
• Marketing & outreach; and
• Business visits.
High priority goals have been assigned to be accomplished in the first or second quarters of
2013. Lower priority goals will be addressed in the third and fourth quarters, as time permits
depending on the progress of the TCAAP project.
Recommendation
Approve the 2013 Economic Development Commission Work Plan.
