SUBJECT: TCAAP Update
Ramsey County has issued a Limited Notice to Proceed to Bolander & Sons, Inc. This allows
Bolander to begin working on the schedule, work plan, and permitting process which is
anticipated to take 60 to 90 days. Permits are required from the MPCA, Rice Creek Watershed
District, and the City. The Limited Notice to Proceed will allow Bolander to begin demolition
shortly after the initial closing with the federal government which is expected to take place in
April.
The City issued the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the TCAAP Alternative Urban Areawide
Review (AUAR), Master Plan, and Regulations & Policies on February 1, 2013. The RFP has
been posted on the City's website, the Minnesota American Planning Association website, and
the League of Minnesota Cities. Questions regarding the proposal must be submitted in writing
by noon on February 15, 2013. Written responses to all submitted questions will be distributed
at a pre-proposal meeting on February 21 and posted on the City's website.
