RESOLUTION NO. 2013-022
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE SOUTH WATER TOWER REHABILITATION
PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the South Water Tower
Rehabilitation Project:
Asbury Avenue North from municipal boundary to Glenhill Road
Asbury Avenue North from Glenhill Road to Edgewater Avenue
Ridgewood Road North from the municipal boundary to the cul-de-sac
Glenhill Road from Asbury Avenue North to Snelling Avenue North
Edgewater Avenue from Asbury Avenue North to Ridgewood Road
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Classic Protective Coatings, Inc., of Menomonie,
Wisconsin, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$783,250.00;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS,MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Classic Protective Coatings, Inc., for $783,250.00 in the name of the City of
Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof
on file in the office of the City Administrator.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 29th
DAY OF APRIL,2013.
