RESOLUTION NO. 2013-021
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2013 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the City of
Arden Hills 2013 Pavement Management Program, the improvement of the following streets:
Asbury Avenue North from municipal boundary to Glenhill Road
Asbury Avenue North from Glenhill Road to Edgewater Avenue
Ridgewood Road North from the municipal boundary to the cul-de-sac
Glenhill Road from Asbury Avenue North to Snelling Avenue North
Edgewater Avenue from Asbury Avenue North to Ridgewood Road
AND WHEREAS, it appears that North Valley, Inc., of Nowthen, Minnesota, is the
lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$723,366.70;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with North Valley, Inc., for $723,366.70 in the name of the City of Arden Hills
for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 13th
