RESOLUTION NO. 2013-026 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION <br /> OF TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the City has previously been informed by the County that property <br /> located in the City of Arden Hills with Property Identification Number 34-30-23-31- <br /> 0012, located at 3208 North Hamline Avenue, and legally described as Registered Land <br /> Survey No. 30, subject to S T H 51/125 and Hamline Avenue, Tract B (the "Property") <br /> has been designated to be sold at auction under the tax forfeiture process specified in <br /> Minnesota Statutes Chapter 282; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council previously requested that the Property be withheld <br /> from public auction to allow the City Council to evaluate the possible conveyance of the <br /> Property to the City as authorized by law; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Arden Hills does hereby determine <br /> that it is necessary and for a public use and purpose to acquire said property as authorized <br /> by Minnesota Statutes § 282.02, specifically to improve conservation land by preserving <br /> land in its natural state; and <br /> WHEREAS,Ramsey County has agreed to sell the parcel to the City for a price <br /> less than market value in accordance with its future use as conservation land. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills, Minnesota,that the Mayor and the City Administrator are authorized to execute all <br /> documents necessary to effect the acquisition of the Property for the purpose specified <br /> herein. <br /> ADOPTED this�day of n"� c , 2013, by the City Council of the City <br /> of Arden Hills. <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> By: <br /> David Grant, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Patrick Klaers, City Administrator <br />
