SUBJECT: Resolution 2012-012 for Charitable Gambling License for Heartland
Racing Pigeon Federation to Conduct Charitable Gambling at Flaherty's
Bowl
Background
On May 10, 2010, the City Council approved a resolution renewing a two year license period
to allow 621 Foundation to conduct charitable gambling at the Flaherty's Bowl. The
Mounds View Schools Education Foundation (formerly the 621 Foundation) has released
their charitable gambling activity at Flaherty's in Arden Hills and their permit will expire on
May 10, 2012.
Heartland Racing Pigeon Federation has submitted an application to conduct charitable
gambling at Flaherty's Bowl. All application materials have been submitted with fees and a
successful background check has been completed.
The applicant will be present at the meeting if the City Council has any questions.
Recommendation
Motion to approve Resolution 2012-012 to allow Heartland Racing Pigeon Federation to
conduct charitable gambling at Flaherty's Bowl for a two year period expiring May 1, 2014.

RESOLUTION NO. 2012-012
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE FOR
HEARTLAND RACING PIGEON FEDERATION TO CONDUCT CHARITABLE
GAMBLING AT FLAHERTY'S BOWL
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, that the City agrees to approve a Charitable Gambling License for two
years,to Heartland Racing Pigeon Federation at the Flaherty's Bowl, 1273 County Road
E, Arden Hills, Minnesota.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
30th DAY OF APRIL,2012.
