RESOLUTION NO. 2013-045
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE ROUND LAKE ROAD, GATEWAY BOULEVARD
AND GATEWAY COURT FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC
HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution 2013-044 of the Council adopted December 9, 2013,
a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement Round Lake
Road, Gateway Boulevard, and Gateway Court area and this report was received by the Council
on December 9, 2013, and
WHEREAS,the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for
affected parcels.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of$2,016,305.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of
January, 2014, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City
Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
