HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-010 1 ORDINANCE NO.2013-010 CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2013-010 AN ORDINANCE ADDING THE PURPOSE, LAND USE CHART, DISTRICT REQUIREMENTS CHART, AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CD CONSERVATION DISTRICT The Arden Hills City Council hereby ordains that Section 1320.04 Subd 19 shall be added; Sections 1320.05 and 1320.06 and its subdivisions are hereby amended; and Section 1320.15 shall be added to the Arden Hills City Code to read as follows: 1320.04 Purpose of Districts. Subd. 19 CD Conservation District A. To provide a"holding" zone for federally owned lands on the Arden Hills Army Training Site to ensure that future development is staged maintains a sustainable level of public expenditures for utilities and services and protects those areas generally determined to be unsuitable for development due to the presence of wetlands, floodplains, steep slopes certain drainage and soil conditions an d critical wildlife habitat. 1 ORDINANCE NO.2013-010 1320.05 Land Use Chart. The application and the administrative and review procedure established in Section 1355.04 Subd 3 Conditional Use Permits shall be followed for all development that requires a Conditional Use Permit. Subd. 2 Permitted Uses. Permitted uses are allowed as specified on the Land Use Chart Section 1320.05. The following uses are also permitted: A. Any facility, building;, or structure controlled by either the Minnesota National Guard or Army Reserve located on the Arden Hills Army Trainina Site. B. Any use or activity carried out by either the Minnesota National Guard or the Army Reserve on the Arden Hills Army Training Site. 5 i ORDINANCE NO.2013-010 Effective Date. Stat. §412.191, Subd. 4, directed that a summary of Ordinance 2013-010 be published. Ordinance 2013-010 is entitled "An Ordinance adding the Purpose, Land Use Chart, District Requirements Chart, and Special Requirements for the CD Conservation District." The Ordinance amends Section 1320 of the City Code.. A full copy of Ordinance 2013-010 is available for inspection by any person during regular business hours at the office of the City Administrator, 1245 West Highway 96, Arden Hills, Minnesota 55112.
