Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the
14th day of January, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock a.m.
The following members were present: Presiding Officer
Crichion and Councilmen Wingert and Hanson and the following
were absent: Mayor Crepeau and Councilman Woodburn.
Councilman Hanson introduced and moved the adoption
of the following resolution:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-7
RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON
COUNTY ROAD E IMPROVEMENT P-80-1
WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting an improvement
in the City of Arden Hills on County Road E from Lexington
Avenue, west to Highway 51 by the installation of underground
power and telephone faciliti�s, decorative lighting,
walkways, traffic channelization and landscaping, filed with
the Council on / ��d , is hereby
delcared to be signed by the required percentage of owners
of property affected thereby pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED_BY THE CZTY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:
That the petition be referred to the City Consulting
Engineers for study and that they are instructed to report
i to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council
in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement
is feasible and as to whether it should.best be made as pro-
posed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Wingert and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: A�1;
and �he following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of the
City Council of said City held on the 14th day of January, 1980,
with the.original thereof on file in my office, and the same
is a fu11, true and complete transcript insofar as the same
relates to County Road E Improvement P-80-1.
