October 13, 1986
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
: Minnesota was duly called and held in the Council Chambers in
' said Citg on the 13th day of October, 1986, at 7:30 p.m.
The following members of_the Council were present:
Mayor Woodburn and Council members Hansen, Hicks and 5ather.
Cauncil member Peck was absent.
Councilmember Sather introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoptione .
RESOLUTION N0. 86-56
- RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAM�EY COUNTY
T0 RESTRICT PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF LEXINGTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has "
planned the improvement of the Lexington Avenue bridge (CSAH 51)
over I-694 and associated ramps and approaches; and
� WHEREAS, the County wi1T be expending County State Aid
Highway funds (S.A.P. 62-651-22) on the improvement of said
street � artd
WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the
. approved minimum standards as previously adopted for such County
State Aid streets and that approval of the proposed construction
as a County State Aid street project must, therefore, be
conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and
Wi�REAS, the extent of these restrictions, that would
be a necessary prerequisite to the approval�of�_this construction
`as a County State Aid project in the City, has been determined. '
NOW, THEREFORE, IT TS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City
requests the County to restrict the parking of motor vehicles on
both sides of Lexington Avenue from'County Road E to County Road
F.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution
was duly seconded by Councilmember Hansen and, upon vote being
taken the�eon, the following voted in favor thereof: all;
whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
