RESOLUTION N0. 83-20
RE50LUTION AUTHORIZING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITIES OF ARDEN HILLS AND SHOREVIEW FOR THE MAINTENANGE BF
CERTAIN BIKEPATHS
WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey is improving Lexington
Aveaue and will contruct bikepaths between County Road F and
County Road G2 in 1983 or 1984, and.
WHEREAS, it is expected that this path �ill be used
by residenta of Shoreview and Arden Hills, and
WHEREAS, a bikepath maintenance agreement would be
beneficial to both cities,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a Joint Powers
Agreement, in which the City of Arden Hills will provide warm
weather maintenaace of the segments of the bikepath between
County Road F and S.T.H. 96 and the City of Shoreview will pro-
vide warm weather maintenance of the bikepath segment between
S.T.H. 96 and County Road G2, is hereby authorized.
Passed by the Arden Hills City Council this 14th day of March
1983.
