WHEREAS, by Warranty.Deed dated August 11, 1975 the.
City of Arden Hills acquired from C. G. Rein Co., for park,
recreation, and open sp.ace:purposes, the parcel of land described
for tax purposes as follows, to-wit:

FIHEREAS, the Ramsey,County Department of Property Taxa-
tion. has noted the conveyance of the'above-described parcel of
land on its records as Division No. 50374, and
WfiEREAS,'said parceT of land is subject to special
assessments heretofore placed-thereon by the City of`Arden Hills
in connection with the construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement
No. 2(Auditor's No. 199/D.P. No. 37) and Water Improvement No.
b8-1 (Auditor's No: 735/D.P. No. 55), and
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council by Resolution
dated January 26, 1976 (Resolution No. 76-14), a certified copy
of which has been filed in: the office of the Ramsey County
Department of Property Taxation, has apportioned the original
special assessment for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 2 between
the tract-of land retained by C. G. Rein Co. and the aforedescribed
parcel of land conveyed'to the City of Arden Hills, the amount
thereof apportioned to the aforedescribed parcel,of land being
$6,820.50, and
Tn7HEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council by Resolution
dated January 26, 1976 (Resolution No_ 76-13), a certified copy
of which has been filed in the office of the Ramsey County
Department of Property Taxation, has ap�ortioned the original

special assessment for Water Improvement No. 68-1 �etween the
tract of land retained by C. G. Rein Co. and the aforedescribed
parcel of land conveyed to the City of Arden Hi11s, the amount
thereof apportioned to the aforedescrihed parcel of land being
$4,470,00, and
T�HEREAS, the Arden Hi11s City Council is desirous of
canceling the installments of the aforesaid special assessments
due and payable in the year 1976 and abating the balance thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City
Council of the City of Arden Hills, that the installments of
special assessments due and payable in the year 1976 for Sanitary
Sewer Improvement No. 2 in the sum of $44�.32 and for Water
Improvement No. 68-1 in the sum of $442:54 are-hereby canceled
and the balances of special asses�snen„�s for Sanitary Sewer
Improvement No. 2 in the sum of 1,075.� d for Water Improvement

showing the foregoing cancellations and abatements on its records.
