RESOLUTION NO. 2014-036
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2014 SEAL COAT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the 2014 Seal Coat Improvement
Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law;
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Pearson Brothers, Inc., Hanover, Minnesota, is the
lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Pearson Brothers, Inc., for a total cost of$97,207.53 in the name of the City
of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications
thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 14th
DAY OF JULY,2014.
