RESOLUTION NO. 2014-049
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE COUNTY ROAD E (B-2
DISTRICT) IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution 2012-054 of the Council adopted December 17,
2012, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the County Road E(13-2
District) Improvements and this report was received by the Council on March 31, 2014, and
WHEREAS,the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for
affected parcels.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS MINNESOTA:
1. The council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of$2,067,047.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of
November, 2014, in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City
Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
