Page 1 of 1 DATE: February 23, 2015 TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers Patrick Klaers, City Administrator FROM: Terry Maurer, Public Works Director SUBJECT: Public Works Design Manual Outline Attached, as requested by the Council, is an outline of the Public Works Design Manual referenced in the TCAAP Redevelopment Code (TRC). Most of the information envisioned for this manual exists at this time; however, it is not currently in a manual style format due to the minimal development within the City in recent years. By compiling this information into a Public Works Design Manual, future developers of TCAAP can be given one document that provides all the information needed for the actual construction process. Additionally, having the TRC reference the Design Manual simplifies the process when information needs to be updated (i.e. updating the tree palette by changing the types of acceptable trees).
