RESOLUTION NO.2015-023
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING
CARTS FROM CASCADE ENGINEERING
WHEREAS,the City of Arden Hills requires the collection and proper management of
recyclables within the limits of the City; and
WHEREAS,the City approved a new recycling contract with Republic Services on
February 23,2015,and
WHEREAS,the new recycling contract states that the City will provide recycling carts for
residents for the collection of recyclable materials, and
WHEREAS,the City desires to purchase recycling carts from Cascade Engineering based
on their agreement and pricing through the National Joint Powers Alliance(NJPA);
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS,MINNESOTA:
That the City will purchase 2,600 sixty-four(64) gallon recycling carts and 200 thirty-
two gallon recycling carts from Cascade Engineering in the amount of$102,980.00.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
