RESOLUTION No. 2016-002
Resolution Relating to the Appointments to the
Commissions and Committees of the City
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding planning and zoning issues on the Planning
Commission;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints members to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding parks, trails and recreation issues on the Parks,
Trails, and Recreation Committee;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding communications and newsletters on the
Communications Committee:
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding the development and redevelopment in the City of
Arden Hills on the Economic Development Commission;
WHEREAS, the City Council annually appoints residents to serve in an advisory
capacity to the City Council regarding City financial planning on the Financial Planning
and Analysis Committee;
WHEREAS, the City Council bi-annually appoints a resident to serve in an
advisory capacity to the City Council regarding redevelopment of TCAAP on the Joint
Development Authority;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Arden Hills City Council appoints or
reappoints the following people to serve on the following commissions and committees
with terms ending as noted by the name:
Section 1: Planning Commission:
A. Brent Bartel—December 31, 2018
B. Clayton Zimmerman—December 31, 2018
C. Andy Holewa (Alternate) —December 31, 2018
Section 2: Parks. Trails, and Recreation Committee:
A. John Van Valkenburg—December 31, 2018
Section 3: Financial Planning and Analysis Committee
A. Katharine Peters—December 31, 2018
