RESOLUTION NO. 2016-008
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SUPPORT OF A JOB CREATION FUND
APPLICATION IN CONNECTION WITH LAND O'LAKES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota (the "City"), desires to assist Land
O'Lakes, Inc., a Minnesota cooperative corporation, which is proposing to expand a facility in
the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills understands that Land O'Lakes, Inc., through and
with the support of the City, intends to submit to the Minnesota Department of Employment and
Economic Development an application for an award and/or rebate from the Job Creation Fund
Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills held a City Council meeting on February 29, 2016,
to consider this matter.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, after due consideration, the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, hereby express their approval of the project
proposed by Land O'Lakes, Inc. and its application for an award and/or rebate from the Job
Creation Fund Program.
