Park/Trail Funds:
• Connect Moundsview High School trail to Old Snelling on south side of Lake Valentine
Road. (4 votes)
• Complete trail on Lake Johanna Blvd from Old Snelling to County Rd E. (3 votes)
• Improve trail in Tony Schmidt between RR underpass and Moundsview High School. (3
votes)
• Complete trail to connect Arden Hills City Hall to Hamline on north side. (2 votes)
• Connect trails on south side of Lake Johanna. (2 votes)
• • Complete south Round Lake trail. (1 vote)
• Complete Perry Park entry realignment. (1 vote)

SUBJECT: Appointment of Ms. Joani Werner to the 2003 PTRC.
Background
Ms. Joani Werner of 1758 Cannon Avenue has applied to become a member of the Parks, Trails
and Recreation Committee. Joani has been a resident of Arden Hills since 1994. Her daughter
has been a participant in our Recreation Programs and the family is a frequent user of our parks
and trails.
Joani was recommended by Mr. Don Messerly, a current PTRC member. She attended the
March 25, 2003 PTRC meeting to get a better understanding of the PTRC's focus. The PTRC
unanimously recommends her appointment.
Staff Recommendations
Staff recommends that Ms. Joani Werner of 1758 Cannon Avenue be appointed to the 2003
Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee.
