CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION VACATING DRAINAGE EASEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 412.851, the Arden Hills City
Council has conducted a hearing preceded by two (2) weeks published and posted
notice and mailed notice to the abutting property owners, to consider the vacation of
a drainage easement located in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, legally
described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and depicted on Exhibit `B" attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, following the hearing and consideration of the proposed vacation, the
Council has determined that the drainage easement is not needed for public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arden Hills:
1. The drainage easement legally described on the attached Exhibit "A" and
depicted on Exhibit`B" is hereby vacated.
2. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this Resolution with the
County Auditor and County Recorder/Registrar of Titles.
ADOPTED this 3{"day of March, 2017, by the City Council of the City of
Arden Hills.

That part of the drainage easement granted to the City of Arden Hills, dated August
12, 1992, recorded September 8, 1992 as Document No. 2671697 which is described as
follows:
That part of the south 30 acres of the north 44 acres of the West Half of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County,
Minnesota described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the east line of said West Half of the Southeast
Quarter distant 1310.78 feet north of the southeast corner thereof, thence South
89 degrees 56 minutes 40 seconds West, assumed bearing, perpendicular to said
east line 207.50 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be
herein described; thence North 52 degrees 05 minutes 59 seconds West 120.00
feet; thence South 67 degrees 13 minutes West 37.00 feet; thence South 12
degrees 21 minutes 56 seconds East 80.00 feet; thence South 49 degrees 30
