Public Inquiries/Informational
Steve Scott member of a Metro Model Airplane Club asked to have his group and their need for space
be considered in future development.

New Business
Debrief of Denver Redevelopment Visit. Administrative Director Worthington distributed
questionnaires to gather Commissioner insight and comments on the three Denver redevelopment
areas. Commissioners were asked to complete and return by the end of the week.
Legislative Update
Nothing to report at this time.
Development Director's Report
The City of Arden Hills hosted a developer panel and public engagement workshop on Tuesday,
July 30, 2013. Approximately 85 people attended the event including the panel, staff, consultants,
Arden Hills' residents, stakeholder representatives, and others.
The panel responded to prepared questions in addition to questions from attendees. Four groups were
formed to discuss transportation and access; commercial and residential development; environment,
energy, and sustainability; and active and passive open space. Each discussion group was asked to
summarize key points for all participants. Kimley-Horn will prepare a summary of panel and attendee
comments that will be provided to the JDA at a future meeting.
The next public engagement event will be a TCAAP open house scheduled for Tuesday,
September 17, 2013, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Marsden Room of the Ramsey County Public Works
Facility.
In order to maximize opportunities for public input into the TCAAP master planning process, the Arden
Hills City Council will hold a monthly TCAAP public hearing at the regular Council meeting held on the
second Monday of each month. The first TCAAP public hearing was held on July 8, 2013.
Administrative Director's Report
Administrative Director Worthington stated the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 2,
2013 which is Labor Day. The JDA members agreed to cancel the September meeting unless an
important issue arises.
Future Meeting Schedule
The next meeting will be Monday, October 7, 2013 at Arden Hills City Hall.
