SUMMARY OF MEETING — NO QUORUM
Present: Commissioners Liz Johnson, Sheila Bennett Kilander, Brendan O'Meara and David
Radziej
Also Present: Senior Planner Matthew Bachler and Deputy Clerk Jolene Trau a
Senior Planner Matthew Bachler stated that there was an absence of a quorum of EDC
Commissioners. He noted that no motions or voting would occur until a quorum was recognized.

4. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS
A. 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update
Senior Planner Bachler distributed postcards for Commissioners to deliver to businesses. H
provided an update on the State of the City. The morning session will be on September 28, 2017
7:30 a.m. at the Tavern Grill, complete with a full breakfast buffet. It is estimated there will be 8
people in attendance. The evening session will be October 3, 2017 at City Hall. We a

C. Business Retention and Expansion Program
Senior Planner Bachler asked if members were having success contacting the businesses on the
list for interviews. He suggested tying postcard deliveries in with Business Retention Meetings.

Senior Planner Bachler mentioned the Planning Commission would be looking at the Marriott
Hotel redevelopment at their meeting. If the Planning Commission approves, it will be presented
to the City Councilon `• rer 25. Construction could potentially start this fall.
