CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the Special City
Council Executive (Closed) Session at 6:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Dave McClung and Steve Scott
Absent: Councilmembers Fran Holmes (excused) and Brenda Holden (excused)
Also present: City Administrator William S. Joynes, Sr. and City Attorney Joel Jamnik (closed
session); Interim Director of Finance and Administrative Services Dave Perrault(open session)
1. AGENDA ITEMS
A. Performance Evaluation closed per M.S. 13D.05 Subd 2 4 and 13D. Subd 3)
B. Report on Performance (open)
Mayor Grant opened the meeting, and a discussion ensued regarding the proposed appointment of the
Public Works Director and City Administrator.
C. Personnel Discussion (open)
Interim Director of Finance and Administrative Services Dave Perrault provided an overview of
health insurance benefits. He indicated that staff supported selecting HealthPartners for coverage in
2018.
A discussion ensued regarding health insurance benefits and the City's contribution.
