RESOLUTION NO. 2018-11
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND APPROVING PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY RAMSEY COUNTY
PURSUANT TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE
COUNTY ROAD F RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the
improvement of County Road F between Hamline Avenue and Lexington Avenue by cooperative
agreement with Ramsey County, and this report was received by the Council on November 27,
2017; and
WHEREAS, the Council on that date fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed
improvement, provided notice of that hearing as required by law, and conducted the hearing on
February 12, 2018 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be
heard thereon; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the
feasibility report at an estimated total cost of the improvement of$1,916,849.00.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the plans and specifications
prepared by Ramsey County pursuant to the cooperative agreement between Ramsey
County and the City dated February 12, 2018, as authorized by state law, including
§471.59 and §429.041, Subd. 5.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS
16th DAY OF JANUARY 2018.
